Contact Lenses
We know that glasses aren’t for everyone, which is why we’re also experts in fitting contact lenses.
Hugely versatile and suitable for most people – even children – contact lenses are now easier to use and more comfortable to wear than ever, thanks to recent advancements in lens technology. And if you lead an active lifestyle, the freedom they give you is incomparable.
Not sure which lenses are right for you? Our specialist opticians will help you find the right solution for your needs. And our contact lens monthly payment plan is often an attractive option, which includes lenses along with professional testing and aftercare in one affordable package.
Your comfort is our priority.
We know that transitioning to contact lenses can be daunting, especially for children. That’s why we only supply high-quality, tried and tested lenses, made from oxygen-permeable materials for optimal comfort. And depending on your preference, we offer disposable lenses on daily, fortnightly and monthly replacement schedules.
Ensuring that you are happy with the service you receive, and are confident inserting, removing and caring for your lenses, is important to us. Rather than handing over the lenses and leaving you to it, we take the time to talk you through wearing them, helping you get used to how they feel and gain confidence with putting them in and taking them out. Following up all our assessments and fittings with aftercare calls, we go the extra mile to guarantee your comfort.
We find the best fit for you.
Along with being a convenient, discreet and affordable alternative to glasses, contact lenses can be used to manage medical conditions and correct vision. In addition to common issues of short- and long-sightedness, if you have astigmatism or ordinarily wear bifocal or varifocal glasses for example, we can fit specialist lenses to suit your requirements.
For more complex conditions, we also specialise in fitting bespoke contact lenses. The combined expertise of our optometrists has been developed through years of experience in both private practice and hospital contact lens clinics. Custom-made to the exact measurements of your unique eye shape and prescription, bespoke lenses are time-intensive to fit, but can be a life-enhancing solution if you have undergone corneal grafts or suffer with keratoconus, for example.
Investing in the latest technology and equipment.
Quality of care is central to the services we provide our patients. We continually invest in the latest eye examination equipment along with the professional development and specialist training of our optometrists, and are honoured to be a Johnson & Johnson Visioncare Acuvue Centre of Excellence.
